I was born in North Carolina and grew up on the coast of the Carolinas. Following college at The University of South Carolina, I travelled the U.S. and Canada for two years in the employ of Phi Delta Theta. Then it was off to law school.
But I just knew I had to get back to my beloved South Carolina coast. My life has been molded by the people, food, mannerisms, idiosyncrasies, dialects and culture of the Palmetto State. I put all my feelings for the area into my books.
The experience of taking a novel from conceptualization to print has been one of great reward, learning, and hard work. After publication of THE TRUST, I dove into a second Noah Parks novel, THE SOLICITOR, which will be released in the summer of 2017, and I’m now onto book three THE CODE.
I also cook, a bit (there are recipes here), and I review other books. I hope you enjoy my work and I hope to hear from you here or at one of my readings.
When I'm not writing I work as a Domestic Mediator. I spend a lot of time out around the South Carolina lowcountry with my camera, playing guitar in assorted venues around Charleston or exploring the underwater world of the southeastern US.
I live with my wife and a pack of friendly canines in Charleston, South Carolina.
